jennterry is a result of friendship and meaningful connection. in a world where we become more and more remote, spread apart, spread thin, and nearly always structurally divided in some way shape or form; the universal language of art is one of the handful of ways that human beings can break the fourth wall of reality.

everyone has their own cross to bear, but if you've came as far as to reading this; you've drug it here. to toys. to art. to connect with something inside of yourself that resonates with people just like you. and i'm glad you're here whether you buy anything or not.

i see too much division. too much for my liking. Truth be told; I can't stand to see it in the space that i love; art.

so many new "rules". so many do's, dont's, lists of how to he an artist and sell a piece of art, and practices that your favorite toy artists should and shouldn't observe.

jennterry is a result of tossing everything to the side, besides the art, the fun, and honoring the meaningful connections made along the way, and the fact that breaking rules are the only reason we have cool art toys in the first place.

rules are made for followers. i don't have followers. i have friends 🫀

plastic jesus is my friend. she loves clear with iridescent guts. we didn't have to do much talking about what this collab was gonna look like; but if she were a total stranger sitting across from me at a desk, we'd have to figure out what this collab would look like.
